Dental Care
Healthy teeth for a healthy life.
Your dental health is a major indicator of your overall health:
- Oral health is key to proper nutrition, proper speech and feeling confident.
- Recent studies also show a link between gum disease and chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
- Infection anywhere in the body—especially in the mouth—can lower your immune system function.
Services
Routine Dental Exams
To keep your teeth and gums healthy, you should see a dentist for a routine exam and cleaning every six months. We provide full-service hygiene appointments that include:
- Deep cleanings
- Education
- Examinations
- X-rays
Extractions and Fillings
If you need to have teeth pulled or cavities filled, we are here to help. We provide both simple extractions and surgical extractions.
Root Canal Treatments
We provide anterior root canals (for the front teeth) at our dental locations. If you need a posterior root canal, we’ll help you find a specialist.
Partials and Dentures
We love giving people their smiles back. Schedule an appointment today to find out if dentures are right for you. If they are, we’ll get you fitted.
Crowns
We offer a limited scope of crowns. A crown is an artificial tooth that protects and replaces a damaged tooth. A dental provider will determine if you need a crown at your appointment.
Pediatric Dental Care
For a child, an oral health issue can cause mouth pain. Mouth pain can affect learning, attendance at school and nutrition. We offer all dental services to children, including nitrous sedation if needed.
Payment & Billing
Like all HealthFirst Care, the cost of dental care is on a sliding-fee scale based on your income. There is minimum fee of $20 per visit for all dental services, including extractions and fillings
