Every day, millions of people who need prescription drugs do not get them because they cost too much. Sometimes, people must choose between basic needs such as food, clothes or shelter and their medications. For many of our patients, getting the right medication at an affordable cost can be life-saving.
We are proud to participate in the 340B Drug Pricing Program. This federal program stretches federal resources to reach eligible patients and provide services. It allows us to offer medications at a very low cost to those who qualify! We have two pharmacies, both located in our clinics to allow for convenient pickup.
Qualifications for Discounts
Like all our services, medications are available on a sliding-fee scale based on your income. Income verification is required to receive discounts. You do not have to have any kind of health insurance to get prescriptions through us. However, we do take Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance.
How Our Pharmacy Works

To qualify for the 340B discount, one of our providers must see you and send a prescription to one of our pharmacies.

We’ll fill your prescriptions at the location most convenient for you.

You will pick up your prescription. It’s that simple!

Retail Inventory
If you don’t qualify for the 340B discount, we offer retail pricing on medications comparable to other pharmacies. We even match our competitors’ $4.00 medication price list!
Prescription Refills
Save time getting refills by calling your preferred HealthFirst Bluegrass Pharmacy! Our telephone prescription refilling system runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please allow at least one full working day for us to complete your refill request.
