Dr. Upreti has been practicing family medicine with the Health Department/HealthFirst Bluegrass since 2006, following the completion of her residency at the University of Kentucky's Department of Family and Community Medicine.
Passionate about caring for underserved and underprivileged populations, Dr. Upreti is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She also enjoys mentoring the next generation of family physicians and works closely with medical students and family medicine residents in the clinic. As an Assistant Professor in the University of Kentucky Department of Family and Community Medicine, she is committed to sharing her knowledge and experiences with aspiring physicians.
Outside of work, Dr. Upreti enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending clear evenings stargazing in her backyard with her husband, an astrophysicist.
